Ruth George is a classically-trained mezzo soprano who sings in a variety of vocal styles and genres. With an elegant, romantic, pure, and powerful voice, she bridges classical and modern genres for an unforgettable experience. Whether singing for a religious ceremony or getting funky with her latest affiliation, Boston-based band Cold Engines, Ruth is always searching for new ways to share music.

Growing up in a family of musicians, Ruth studied piano and later transitioned her focus to classical voice and choral singing. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of New Hampshire and is currently based in Newmarket, NH, traveling throughout greater New England as a concert soloist and ceremony singer for weddings, funerals, and other events.
